Training for School teachers

Under the Adolescent Health and Nutrition Initiative (AHANI) India, EcDEESHA Foundation organized a training session for school teachers and facilitators on adolescent and school health models. The visiting teachers, from various schools in and around Delhi/NCR, got to learn about the different domains pertaining to adolescent health. Experts from EcDEESHA Foundation conducted interactive sessions in areas like Nutrition, Physical Activity and Non-Communicable Diseases. EcDEESHA Foundation also demonstrated its mobile application S.H.A.R.P.E.N among the school teachers/facilitators. The day ended with a CPR workshop/training conducted by Dr. Aruna Ramesh, Professor and HOD, Emergency Response, M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru.
