EcDEESHA Foundation, in collaboration with Global Health Leaders Program and M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru, is one of the leading entities in conception and execution of the Public Private Competency Building (PPCB) initiative in India.
Under this, the foundation in tandem with other collaborators has actively started working in the field of Adolescent Health and Nutrition by initiating a pan India school health program. This school health program seeks to actively involve students, teachers and parents to work towards making healthy lifestyle choices and to be physically fit and agile, thus creating health champions for tomorrow. The other facet of this program includes Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR training for adolescents of the right age. Team EcDEESHA and a team of experts from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru (for BLS and CPR training) have already conducted pilot sessions in a number of schools in New Delhi, Gujarat and Bengaluru.
