COVID awareness program

EcDEESHA Foundation conducted a small awareness program on COVID-19 in the 'Meladi Mata' slum in Anand, Gujarat. The residents of the slum area were given basic information about COVID-19 with emphasis put on the importance of wearing a mask, washing and sanitizing hands regularly and maintaining social distancing. The program was very well received by the residents of the area and was covered by a few leading dailies in Anand highlighting the program. 

The program was lead by Mr. Alpesh Christy, Treasurer and active volunteer of the foundation just before Christmas on December 23, 2020.
